Santorini: Guided Tour to 3 Wineries with Wine Tastings

4.8 (722 verified reviews)

About This Experience

The classic three-winery route, and the second most-reviewed real wine tour on Santorini at 722 ratings. If you want the standard version of this experience without paying the sunset premium, this is the default answer.

The tour is unusually honest about how the island works: your three estates are drawn from a pool of five — Estate Argyros, Art Space Winery and three others — depending on availability on the day. Nearly every operator does this. Few say so on the listing.

It opens at a vineyard on the volcanic soil with the traditional basket vines, and the guiding leans historical: the island's winemaking runs back roughly 3,500 years, and the tour spends real time on why that matters to what is in the glass.

Twelve small glasses across the three cellars, with Greek cheese, tapas and snacks, plus a mini wine-tasting session. Groups are capped at ten.

Meeting Point

Hotel pickup, not a fixed meeting point. The operator collects from accommodation anywhere a vehicle can reach across Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli, Oia, Megalochori, Kamari and Perissa, and confirms your time by email after booking. If your hotel sits in a pedestrian-only lane — common in Oia and Imerovigli — you will be asked to walk to the nearest car-accessible corner. Transport is an air-conditioned Mercedes minivan.

What Travelers Say

Rated 4.8/5 by 722 verified GetYourGuide travelers.

Very lovely guide with a passion for history so we had plenty of extra complementary facts that helped us better appreciate the rich history of the island and its wine making artisans. Little advice to help you have a stress free booking: the agency/driver use What's app to communicate and arrange pick up.

The tour was amazing!! Harris, our guide, was very kind, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. While he was supposed to provide transport, which he did, he also provided tons of knowledge about Thera and its history as well. Could not ask for a better driver/guide. The wineries were all so beautiful and had delicious wines. They go over the history of the grapes used to make the delicious wines, the distilling process, and provide light snacks as well. Great tour overall.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which wineries will I visit?

Three drawn from a pool of five, which include Estate Argyros and Art Space Winery. The operator sets the day's route by availability — that is normal on an island with fewer than twenty group-ready cellars, and this listing is one of the few that states it plainly.

Is this tour wheelchair accessible?

No. The operator lists it as unsuitable for wheelchair users and for guests with mobility impairments — cellar floors and vineyard tracks are uneven and there are steps at several estates.

Can children come?

Under-18s must be accompanied by a parent who takes responsibility for them during the tour. They will not be served wine.

How is this different from the sunset tour?

Same shape, different hour. This one is not routed to finish on the caldera at sunset, which is why it costs less for a comparable three-cellar flight.
